It takes time and intention to grow. The realization of our growth does not happen when we are meditating, journaling, or going to the gym, however helpful these practices are to our self-care. I believe we realize and strengthen our growth in the midst of relational conflict when we are frustrated, angry, scared, or ashamed, and when we can see and stop ourselves from doing the same old thing.
You are here because the same old thing is no longer working for you.
Welcome to Joy in Practice, PLLC. As a professional licensed counselor, I am here to accompany you as we figure out a different, more helpful response that will better serve you and your relationships. My work in therapy is to create space for you to be seen and heard, to consider new and different possibilities, and to enact change when you are ready. Therapy is a place where you are allowed to struggle, to question, to grieve, and to not be rushed. And in this space, together, we can grow change that matters.
